Nearest Metro Station to Golf Course Road, Cyber City and Sohna Road (2026)
The three Rapid Metro stations on Golf Course Road, the Cyber City skywalk stops, and how buyers on Sohna Road and Dwarka Expressway should plan around the current gaps.
For Golf Course Road, your three closest Rapid Metro stations are Sector 42-43, Sector 53-54 and Sector 55-56, all built directly along the corridor. Cyber City is served by the Cyber City, Moulsari Avenue and Phase 3 stations, each connected to the office towers through covered skywalks. Sohna Road has no station of its own today, so the practical answer is HUDA City Centre on the Yellow Line, roughly 10 to 15 minutes by auto from most buildings on the stretch.
The Rapid Metro Gurgaon loop opened in 2013 and connects to the Delhi Metro Yellow Line at Sikanderpur. From that interchange it runs north through Phase 2, Belvedere Towers, Cyber City, Moulsari Avenue, Phase 3 and Phase 1, then loops back south along Golf Course Road through Sector 42-43, Sector 53-54 and Sector 55-56. Eleven stations in all. DMRC took over operations in 2019, so the same smart card works across Delhi and Gurgaon without a second tap.
If your address is on Golf Course Road, the station you want depends on where along the ten-kilometre corridor you sit. Residents around Trident, Oberoi, Leela Ambience and the DLF Camellias, Aralias and Magnolias cluster use Sector 42-43, usually a five-minute auto or ten-minute walk from the gate. The DLF Park Place, Pinnacle and Crest pocket lines up with Sector 53-54. M3M Golfestate, Ireo Grand Arch, Emaar Palm Drive and the Sector 65 to 67 belt sit closest to Sector 55-56, the southern terminus of the loop.
Cyber City is the one place in Gurgaon where "walk to the metro" is literal. The Cyber City station deposits you inside DLF Phase 2 next to Infinity Towers and Building 10. Moulsari Avenue serves DLF Phase 3, the Hyatt Regency pocket and the Candor campus. Phase 3 station is the right choice for Building 5, 7, 8 and the Horizon Centre cluster. The covered elevated skywalks mean most office lobbies are a two to seven minute walk from the platform in any weather, which is unusual for Indian metro networks.
Sohna Road and Golf Course Extension Road are the glaring gap in the current network. For the Sohna Road belt - Omaxe, Vatika, Vipul, ILD and South City 2 - the nearest metro is HUDA City Centre at the end of the Yellow Line, usually a 10 to 15 minute auto ride (Rs 60 to 100 in 2026). For Golf Course Extension (Sectors 65 to 70, where M3M, Emaar and Ireo are concentrated), Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro is the closest station, but you will still need a short cab hop since the extension itself does not have a dedicated stop.
There is no operational metro on the Dwarka Expressway today, which is why buyers in Sectors 102, 103, 106 and 113 currently plan around NH-48 and the SPR crossing. The approved Gurgaon Metro Phase 1, a 28.5 km alignment with 27 stations running from Millennium City Centre near HUDA City Centre to Cyber City via Sector 9 and the Dwarka Expressway interface, is under construction with public timelines pointing to 2027 to 2028 completion. That window overlaps with when several New Gurgaon towers hit possession, so metro access should land roughly when occupancy ramps up on the corridor.
For IGI Airport Terminal 3, the fastest metro route from Gurgaon is Yellow Line to New Delhi station and an interchange onto the Airport Express Orange Line, about 55 to 70 minutes end to end from Sikanderpur. For Terminal 1 change at Dhaula Kuan for the Magenta Line. In practice, almost every luxury buyer we represent takes a cab on NH-48 instead, which runs 25 to 40 minutes outside peak hours. The metro route makes more sense for staff and tenants than for owners with a car and a driver.
The rule we give clients on the ground: under 500 metres from gate to station entrance, walk; 500 metres to 2 km, take an auto (Rs 40 to 80 in 2026); beyond 2 km or with luggage, take a cab. Every Rapid Metro station on Golf Course Road has an auto stand within a minute of the exit. Cyber City stations have weather-protected drop-offs built into the office towers themselves.
A quick reference for the addresses buyers ask about most. DLF Camellias, Aralias, Magnolias, Trident, Oberoi and Leela Ambience sit under 1 km from Sector 42-43. DLF Park Place, The Crest and Pinnacle are under 1 km from Sector 53-54. M3M Golfestate, Ireo Grand Arch, Emaar Palm Drive and Suncity Heights are 1 to 2 km from Sector 55-56. DLF Infinity Towers, Building 10, Hyatt Regency and Horizon Centre have near-zero walking distance via the Cyber City skywalks. Vatika Towers, ILD Trade Centre, South City 2 and Omaxe Celebration need a 4 to 6 km cab ride from HUDA City Centre. Dwarka Expressway projects have no direct metro yet, with 2027 to 2028 the realistic planning horizon.
