How Many Sectors Are There in Gurgaon? Full List 2026
Gurgaon has about 115 numbered sectors on the HSVP master plan as of 2026, running from Sector 1 in the old city out to Sector 115 on the Dwarka Expressway.

Gurgaon has roughly 115 numbered sectors on the HSVP master plan as of 2026, running from Sector 1 near the old city out to Sector 115 on the Haryana-Delhi border along the Dwarka Expressway. Not every one of those sectors is fully developed. The first sixty-odd are mature residential or commercial grids, while sectors in the 80s, 90s and 100s are a working mix of ready townships, under-construction towers and licensed but still-forming land parcels.
The count has grown steadily since Gurgaon's first master plan in the 1970s. New sectors get notified under successive Gurgaon-Manesar Development Plans, the current one runs to 2031, and existing sectors are occasionally split into Part 1 and Part 2, or into A and B variants, as colonies get refined on the ground. That is why maps from different years rarely agree on an exact number.
The simplest way to read Gurgaon's geography is Old versus New, with NH-48 as the rough dividing line. Old Gurgaon covers Sectors 1 to roughly 57, laid out by HUDA (now HSVP since 2017) through the 1980s and 1990s. The best known inside this band include Sector 14 (the Civil Lines belt), Sector 15 Part 1 and Part 2, Sectors 17 and 18 (the main market), Sector 43 and 46 off Sohna Road, and the premium Sector 53 pocket adjacent to Golf Course Road.
New Gurgaon starts at Sector 58 and extends north and west. Sectors 58 to 80 trace the Golf Course Extension Road and Southern Peripheral Road corridors, which together have carried the bulk of the last decade's new high-rise supply. Sectors 81 to 95 form the New Gurgaon townships belt further out, with large integrated master-planned colonies from DLF, Vatika, M3M, Emaar and others.
Beyond that sits the Dwarka Expressway corridor. Sectors 99 through 115 were carved out specifically to support the Expressway on the Haryana side of the Delhi border, with licences issued to multiple developers for Grade A residential and commercial projects. These are the sectors you hear about most in new launches today: Sector 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 111 and 113. In 2026 they are still maturing, with plenty of construction and partial occupancy, while settled schools, markets and transit are catching up rather than fully in place.
A quick status map helps when you are shortlisting. Sectors 1 to 57 are mature and resale-dominated, with limited new launch inventory. Sectors 58 to 80 are a mix of plotted colonies, Golf Course Extension high-rises and SPR projects, mostly ready or near-ready. Sectors 81 to 95 are mostly developed New Gurgaon townships. Sectors 96 to 115 are the Dwarka Expressway belt, with the newest construction and the longest runway for appreciation, but the thinnest social infrastructure right now.
The DLF Phase names sit on top of this numbering rather than beside it. DLF Phase 1 overlaps parts of Sectors 26A and 27, Phase 2 falls inside Sector 25, Phase 3 covers much of Sector 24 and Phase 5 extends into Sectors 43 and 54. If you see a listing on a Phase address, the HSVP sector exists underneath; both references are valid, and official documents will cite the sector number.
Sector 15 Part 1 and Part 2 is a frequent source of confusion. Administratively they are the same sector under HSVP, but Part 1 and Part 2 occupy adjacent land parcels developed in different phases. Addresses mention the Part number because it matters for navigation and plot location, not because they are legally different sectors on paper.
The A-suffix sectors, 83A, 84A, 86A and others, exist because the original sector boundary was subdivided to accommodate additional licensed colonies. On HSVP records they are variations of the parent sector, but on the ground they operate as independent neighbourhoods with their own entrances, roads and project clusters. Sector 83A, for instance, sits inside the broader Sector 83 corridor near Vatika India Next.
The sector number alone does not tell you about pricing, prestige or infrastructure maturity. Sector 43 and Sector 115 are both "sectors" but they trade at very different rates and offer very different lifestyles. Treat the sector number as a geographic address, not a quality signal. The street, the project, the plot and the developer matter far more than the three-digit label on the gate.
If you are shortlisting where to buy, start with the corridor that matches your life. Old Gurgaon for settled infrastructure and the shortest commute into the city. Golf Course Extension and the SPR for Grade A amenities on a mature belt. Dwarka Expressway for new construction and growth potential. We cover every major sector in detail across our Gurgaon maps hub, with dedicated pages for Sector 14, Sector 43, Sector 9 and DLF Phase 2, each anchored to our verified luxury listings and vetted against the sector master plan.
